Join Us for a Pivotal Moment in Women's Political Leadership

Date: Thursday, September 19th
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Location: At the home of Sheri and Alon Panovka, Ansley Park (Address provided with RSVP)

We invite you to an extraordinary evening where we come together to champion the future of women in political leadership. This event is more than just a gathering—it's a celebration of the incredible women who are stepping up to make a difference in our political landscape.

What to Expect:

  • Valet Parking: Complimentary valet parking will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. for your convenience.

  • Cocktail Hour (5:30 - 6:30 p.m.): Begin your evening with a relaxed cocktail hour, featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres catered by Gregg Baker and a delightful selection of desserts and wine provided by Sheri Panovka. During this time, you'll have the unique opportunity to meet and speak with 15-20 candidates running for office. To make it easier to spot these inspiring individuals, each candidate will be wearing a sash.

  • Speaking Program (6:30 - 7:10 p.m.): The heart of the evening will be our speaking program, where you'll hear from a diverse group of women representing various stages and types of races:

    • Laura Murvartian – "Immediate Seat Flipper": Laura, along with Susie Greenberg and Michelle Kang, are running in districts that are on the cusp of flipping. They have the best chance to gain us new seats in the house, making their races critical for immediate change.

    • Danielle Bell – "Contagious Hope": Candidates like Debra Shigley, Danielle Bell, and Elaine Padgett are running in districts considered 2nd or 3rd tier—these races are not as close to flipping, but with increased voter turnout and a strong message, they could make a significant impact.

    • Cathy Kott – "Messenger": Running in a deeply red district, Cathy Kott and candidates like her are essential in spreading the message of democratic values. Their work helps ensure that every vote counts, particularly in areas that are often overlooked.

    • Laura Judge – "Local Hero": Running for a school board seat, Laura is part of a group of women who are focusing on super-local races that have a profound impact on our daily lives. These candidates are ensuring that Republicans do not go unchecked in these smaller but crucial races.

    • Kenya Wicks – "Torch Bearer": Running for the seat being vacated by retiring State Senator Valencia Seay, Kenya Wicks has served as Chief of Staff to Senator Seay, who is now passing the torch to the next generation, much like Biden has done with Kamala Harris.

  • Mingling with Candidates (7:10 - 8:00 p.m.): Finish up your earlier conversations or meet new candidates, learn more about their campaigns and how you can help get these women to the finish line.

This is your chance to be part of an inspiring evening that highlights the power and potential of women in politics. Together, we can help shape the future of our communities and our nation.
